AR-News: (US IL) Farm Bureau reacts to lawsuit

"The way the industry has gone is to have concentrated numbers of livestock 
in one place," he said. "Many (Farm Bureau) members are not happy about it, but 
it's no longer a point of discussion." 
"Feeding hogs on a small scale is no longer economically feasible for 
anyone," Schoenholz said. 
Schielein said the guidelines within the Livestock Facilities Management Act, 
LFMA, provide protection for the public by issuing guidelines on the building 
and operation of confined animal feeding operations.
