AR-News: (IN) Scot animal activist attacked at fashion show

Chennai:  A Scottish activist of the UK-based animal protection
organisation, 'Advocates for Animals,' was allegedly attacked when she
twice stormed into a leather fashion show, organised as part of the
Chennai International Leather Fair in Chennai on Sunday night.

A release from the Advocates for Animals said that the activist Yvonne
Taylor stormed into the fashion show 'Catwalk' twice in protest against
the cruelty inherent in every garment and shoe display at the fair. She
had also carried banners, stating 'Leather Kills' and 'Leather is Murder.'
