AR-News: (US-ca) Guilty Verdict In Puppy Beating Trial

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- A Santa Cruz County Superior Court judge has found a
former Live Oak man guilty on charges stemming from the clubbing death of
a Pomeranian puppy.

Judge Art Danner handed down the verdict against Steve Jackson Monday
morning, finding him guilty of intimidation and animal cruelty charges in
connection with the 2001 incident.
