AHMEDABAD/VADODARA/RAJKOT: The bird flu scare has led to a whopping 75-90
per cent drop in the chicken sale in different parts of the state as
jittery non-vegetarians go leafy.

Dealers are selling chicken for Rs 40-60 per kg but the takers are few.
"Eggatarianism is also out for me. I have become totally vegetarian.
Health comes first and I would not want to put any sickly thing in my
stomach. I am better off eating my veggies," says corporate executive
Saurabh Dutta.
