BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP - A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Sunday to introduce
the public to the future site of the Happy Tails No Kill Animal Shelter.
Happy Tails, a new non-profit organization, is launching a campaign to raise
$500,000 to build a 2,800 square-foot animal shelter on the site, said
Christine Personius, a member of the board of directors of Happy Tails.
The site of the new shelter is located on U.S. Route 6 in Burlington
Township, next to Bradford County Memorial Park.
The Happy Tails shelter will be the only no-kill animal shelter in Bradford
County, Personius said.

but because of those who look on and do nothing.",
