AR-News: (CA) Burger giant may limit Canadian beef

McDonald's, the largest buyer of beef in the restaurant industry, is
considering banning meat from older cattle in its Canadian restaurants.

The discovery of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) in an Alberta cow
in May prompted the fast-food chain to review its beef-safety measures,
said Ron Christianson, spokesman of McDonald's Restaurants of Canada Ltd.
