AR-News: (US VA) Joint shelter would be joy for animals

JAMES CITY -- New state laws governing animal shelters have led county 
officials to consider combining their Animal Control Facility with the Heritage 
Humane Society. 

The result could be a first-class shelter for cats and dogs that animal 
lovers have clamored for. Separate upgrades would prove too expensive for both 
sides.
