Williamson County Animal Control confiscated 230 animals from Siliski's home
at 2235 Bowman Road in Franklin on Thursday. They used a search warrant
obtained by the district attorney's office.
Siliski has not been criminally charged, but the case will be presented to a
grand jury for possible indictment, District Attorney General Ron Davis said
yesterday.
A hearing yesterday on the children's immediate future began with a
court-ordered field trip to inspect Siliski's house.
''It was in better condition today,'' said Terry Cozart, executive director
of Court Appointed Special Advocates, who visited the house Friday night when
the children were removed. ''I still saw syringes in the upstairs master
bedroom, and the smell is still present, though not as strong.''
