In a few months, Summer will be there and I’m sure a lot of you are already thinking about holidays, maybe going to France.

In France, my friends, 67 cities are organising bull-fights, in  the year 2000 there were 36, in 2002 there were  55, so their numbers are  increasing. When asked why, they say corridas are part of their culture… What  would Marguerite Yourcenar have said about  that?

I’m sure  you wouldn’t dream about visiting cities that are SMELLING  BLOOD. Maybe you could be so kind as to let them know  that you can’t spend a penny (or a Euro) in their region, because of ethical  objections? These are their email addresses.
