Hi Friends, this atrocity (newspaper article at the end) is a threat to his wife's life!!!!!  She better take this SERIOUSLY!!!  Right now could we please fax, call, snail mail imploring the DA (below) to use ALL of his power to please vigorously investigate, prosecute and convict this soul-less thing to the absolute maximum penalty, also mentioning that the worst killers of other humans always had a history of torturing/murdering animals:

Subject: Dog stabbed - needs donations for vet

Hi all,

Your help is needed for a dog badly injured by a stabbing. Please
contribute to the extensive medical costs of saving a local dog who was viciously attacked last week. The dog's owner is a UNCA coworker.
Let's all please help as quickly as possible. Here are the details:

A dog belonging to a UNC at Asheville employee was viciously
attacked and mutilated last week by a Buncombe Country man now charged
with felony animal abuse.

Details were reported on WLOS-TV news last week; the Web transcript
of that report is copied below. (Warning: Details are graphic and
upsetting).

Reach Emergency Veterinary Hospital is caring for the dog, a female
Carolina Singing Dog named "Yoo Hoo," who was repeatedly stabbed in the
face. Doctors say they believe Yoo Hoo will survive, but she
requires $2000 worth of extensive surgery and round-the-clock clinical
care.

Please contribute to the costs of saving Yoo Hoo! Any amount is
welcome--it all adds up! Please send donations by next Thurs Jan 29
if possible and I will hand-deliver the total to Reach Veterinary Clinic
next Friday.

Please bring or send your donation to me ASAP. Make checks out to
Ann Weber, PRNet and mark your check memo line PRNet for Yoo Hoo.
Send donations on-campus to:
Ann Weber, Pet Relief Network, Psychology Dept.
CPO #1960.
(If sending from off-campus, please affix postage and complete address
with: UNC at Asheville, Asheville NC 28804-8508).

You may also mail donations for Yoo Hoo directly to the veterinary
clinic. Make checks payable to Reach Emergency Clinic and send them
to:

Reach Emergency Veterinary Clinic
Attn: Care for "Yoo Hoo"
677 Brevard Road
Asheville NC 28806

Tell others!

Finally, to see justice done and make sure this
act is prosecuted, contact the Buncombe Co. District Attorney with your
encouragement. Best way to contact him is to send a fax, re. animal
abuse charges for attack on "Yoo Hoo," to:
Ronald L. Moore, Esq.
Buncombe County District Attorney
(828) 232-2283.
Thank you
