AR-News: A.S.P.C.A. gives Pa.-based dog group $7,500

NEW YORK — The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has 
awarded the Pennsylvania-based organization, Dogs Deserve Better, $7,500 as 
the first-prize winner of the second annual 2003 A.S.P.C.A./Chase Pet Protectors 
Award. 
Dogs Deserve Better, based in Tipton, employs Kimberly Obert to serve the 
Berwick area. Among her responsibilities as a DDB representative, Obert acts as a 
resource for concerned citizens who wish to report a chained dog in their 
neighborhood.
