AR-News: (US-co) Mad cow scare not spooking most

Fort Collins residents seem to remain generally confident the beef they
purchase is safe, a month following the discovery of mad cow disease in
Washington.

"I think we've got a safe supply," said David Kinkaid, an administrator at
Colorado State University who eats beef four to five days a week. "I think
federal, state and local officials will do everything in their power and
err on the side of safety if there is anything to be concerned about."
