The intensity of Yamanouchi's record of animal cruelty came to light when the campaign was sent a delivery note for a mother beagle and her litter of two day old pupies from Harlan animal breeders to Yamanouchi's research centre in Oxford, now closed down thanks to SHAC. 

Just imagine the fear and confusion of that mother dog as she and her newborn puppies were packed into a traveling crate and driven across the country to end up in a cold metal cage waiting to be tortued and killed.   
That is why the CloseHLS list is asking their supporters to keep the pressure on Yamanouchi.  Today in London, England , activists visited a hotel where Yamanouchi was speaking at.  Activists made an appearance with banners, bull-horns, leaflets, and air-horns, that will ensure that Yamanouchi will not be welcomed back to the hotel. 
The good news for the USA activists is that we can give Yamanouchi this same type of treatment as well.  Jim Siebert, Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance for Yamanouchi Pharmaceuticals will be showing his head at marcus Evans Life Sciences Series conference this week at Hyatt Regency in New Jersey.   

We are asking people to call, write, fax, or do demos at te Hyatt Regency in New Jersey and ask them to bar Yamanouchi from coming to the hotel in the future.   We are also asking people to give the same type of attention to Marcus Evans  Life Sciences Series group and encourage them to bar Yamanouchi from any furture events.   

We have heard that people on this list love calling toll free 800 numbers (because the people on the other end have to pay for the calls) so we found an 800 number for faxes this time.
