Paul Gildenhuys, manager of the Western Cape nature conservation board's 
environmental crime unit, said: "We are very satisfied with the sentence... The 
message we are sending out to the world is that if people come to South Africa 
to plunder its biodiversity, they will be caught and dealt with."
