A WOMAN was saved from a house blaze by her pet dog.
Heather Wilson was asleep in her living room when a pan of chips caught fire 
in the kitchen.
But the 50-year-old escaped serious injury when she was woken by the barking 
of her Labrador Alsatian cross, MA.
Mrs Wilson found smoke billowing out of the kitchen and moved quickly to push 
her pet dogs and cats into the garden and raise the alarm. She then smothered 
the fire with a wet tea towel before escaping.
