AR-News: (US IA) AFBF delegates adopt BSE policies :Downer animals

“Downer animals will continue to be a thorn in animal agriculture,” stated a 
delegate from California. “We need to deal with this now and end downer 
animals in the food supply so we don’t have to fight this over and over” with 
animal rights groups.
Iowa’s delegates were encouraged that the issue will receive serious 
discussion by the AFBF board.
