Sarepta's James Foster received a call from a Sarepta resident a while back
telling him he'd caught an especially vicious animal in one of his beaver traps
near the city's sewerage treatment plant and he needed to do something about
it.

"What is it?" Foster asked the caller.

"It's our 16-year-old daughter, Catherine!"

Foster and his wife, June, jumped in his truck and headed for the plant
located about five minutes from his home.

"I told June I'd always had the policy that I got to keep whatever I caught,"
Foster said chuckling. "'Well, you ain't gonna do it this time!' she told me
in short order."

The teenager had on lace-up leather boots and fortunately the death trap
caught her on the heel, so she was unscathed.
