AR-News: (US TX) Seized greyhounds expected to survive

Forty-seven Italian greyhounds seized from a Northeast Side home were 
comfortably resting Saturday at the Humane Society of Bexar County, a spokeswoman 
said. 
Divided among five kennels, the dogs tend to "sleep together in piles," 
spokeswoman Cathy Rosenthal said. 
Though several appeared to suffer from serious skin problems, all were 
expected to survive. 
City animal control workers seized the dogs and five cats Friday from a home 
in a quiet neighborhood after repeated odor complaints from neighbors. Workers 
found 34 dogs in plastic carriers and 13 more running loose in the Lace Wood 
Street house.
