AR-News: US, Mexico officials to meet over mad cow scare

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - U.S. officials will meet with agriculture
authorities in Mexico City next Tuesday to urge Mexico to reopen its
borders to American beef after mad cow disease was found in the United
States, a top official said on Wednesday.

Officials will discuss what the United States is doing to control the
disease, Javier Trujillo, head of the Mexican agriculture ministry animal
health commission, told Reuters.
