Citra woman killed by pit bulls By BILL THOMPSON
Ocala Star-Banner
CALA - Last Friday morning, a pair of Marion County officials huddled to
share information about what appeared to be a growing menace in a Citra
neighborhood - a pack of aggressive pit bulls owned by Robert Freeman.
County Code Enforcement Manager Robin Hough wanted to discuss Freeman and his
dogs with Art Brennan, a safety and sanitation specialist with the county
Health Department, who tracks animal attacks throughout the unincorporated part
of the county.
Hough knew that one of Freeman's dogs had recently bitten Willie Clinton, a
nearby resident, and she expected soon to receive a sworn statement launching
an investigation into whether Freeman's dogs should be declared dangerous.

species with kindness, love, and compassion. That these animals suffer through human
cruelty is beyond understanding. Please help to stop this madness."
