The board of directors of Happy Tails announces it has officially launched a
building fund campaign for a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter.

6 acres of land for its future no-kill shelter with private donations.
The new shelter will be located along Route 6 in North Towanda, two miles
west of the exit to Route 220. Happy Tails shelter will serve the region by
providing a safe haven for abandoned, homeless, and unwanted companion animals in a
happy, healthy atmosphere that respects the animals' dignity. The Happy Tails
organization is composed of eight Bradford County residents including Karen
Friedenberg, Carol Camp, Christine Personius, Stephanie Kenia, Jeff Osmond,

species with kindness, love, and compassion. That these animals suffer through human
cruelty is beyond understanding. Please help to stop this madness."
