A free birding outing with the Audubon Society of Salem to Baskett Slough 
National Wildlife Refuge will be Saturday.

The group will leave at 8 a.m. from the Salem Audubon Nature Preserve in West 
Salem and return about 1 p.m. For information, contact trip leader Pat 
Gallagher at (503) 362-8679.
