The UW suspended an assistant professor yesterday from testing on animals
for at least a year after reports found him in violation of several
animal-testing rules.
Chen Dong, assistant professor of immunology, was suspended for cutting
the tips of mouse tails and conducting other research without University
approval, such as withholding food from mice, The Seattle Times reported
yesterday.
As of press time last night, Dong had failed to respond to The Daily
