AR-News: (MS) Justice for Justice: Moss Point man fined for failiing to properly care for

MOSS POINT -- Justice prevailed in Moss Point Municipal Court Wednesday. 

 
A German shepherd's owner, Roosevelt Armstrong of Moss Point, was fined $255 
for failing to properly care for his then-ailing dog. At the request of City 
Prosecutor Haidee Sheffield, City Judge Maxine Lawson Conway stripped Armstrong 
of his ownership of the dog, which was named Justice after officials took it 
into their custody. 
Armstrong said he will appeal the fine to county court. 
Until the appeal process has expired, Lawson said the dog cannot be adopted 
out.
