ANIMAL rights protestors will make their presence felt tomorrow as members of Cambridge University discuss allegations they were misled over plans for a monkey testing laboratory.

As the News revealed in August, academics on the university's governing body, The Regent House, approved plans for the controversial lab in Girton without knowing animal experiments would take place there. 

A spokesman for the university said: "We uphold the right of anyone to make a peaceful and lawful protest."
