Some of the most colourful and attractive fish to swim the tropical seas may
be threatened by the aquarium trade, the United Nations believes.
It says over 20 million fish and about half as many other forms of marine
life are caught every year for the trade.
"The indifference, callousness and contempt that so many peiple exibit
toward animals is evel first because it results in the great suffering of
animals, and second because it results in an incalculably great
impoverishment of the human spirit."
