AR-News: (US-NY) Canned Shoot Bill on Governor's Desk

We have confirmed that the New York bill banning "canned shoots" was 
delivered to Governor Pataki's desk on Thursday, and he has ten days 
from yesterday to sign or veto the bill -- but he may act any day! We 
need you to keep your phone calls coming! The bill bans the trophy 
shooting of captive exotic mammals, such as zebras, boars, buffalo, and 
exotic sheep, on fenced property of any acreage. Please urge Governor 
Pataki to sign the canned shoot bill (A4609a and S2735a). Tell him 
canned shoots are unsporting, inhumane, and have nothing to do with
