AR-News: (US) Couple charged with incest pleads guilty to animal cruelty

(MOBILE, Ala.) August 14 - A local couple charged with incest will be
spending the next six months behind bars, after pleading guilty to animal
cruelty. But some animal rights crusaders say this isn't enough time for
the extent of their crime.

Alice and Carrol Ferdinandsen had nothing to say in court Thursday
morning, except "guilty": guilty of second-degree animal cruelty.

Last month, humane officers found two dead dogs, a dead bird and six other
mistreated dogs at the home of the Theodore couple.
