A protest rally opposing the black bear hunt is scheduled for Saturday,
Sept. 6th, at the Governor's Mansion on Route 206, at 10:30 a.m. (just outside
Princeton, directions below).
It is VITAL that this protest be a huge success with incredible turnout to
send the message to McGreevey that masses of NJ residents do NOT want or
agree with the bear hunt! We cannot have just a few dozen folks out
there.......the Governor and media need to see hundreds or thousands at this
protest! Remember, a large successful protest is comprised of individuals.....ever
y person's participation is vital!!!
PLEASE put Sat., Sept. 6th ( 10:30 a.m.) on your calendar AND as
important.........bring friends, family, neighbors, coworkers WITH YOU. We truly need
EVERYONE'S participation for this to be a successful message to McGreevey and
the media. (Although the rally is scheduled to end at 1:00 p.m.....if folks
must leave early....so be it.....better that you attend for some of the time!)
We are asked to bring a pair of 'flip-flop' sandals.......to demonstrate to
McGreevey how outraged we are that he 'flip-flopped' as a proponent for
nonlethal bear management. Feel free to write a message on the sandals which will be
collected and delivered to his office.
PLEASE POST FAR & WIDE !!
