AR-News: (US) Founder of Stray Rescue adopts Quentin

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- When Quentin the "miracle dog" survived a trip to the
gas chamber, Randy Grim thought it was because the cuddly canine was meant
to serve some greater good.

Now, with the help of a California animal advocacy organization and Grim's
companionship, the 30-pound basenji will be the focal point of a campaign
to raise awareness about the millions of dogs killed each year because
they do not have homes.
