BELLEVUE, Wash. -- A Bellevue man is expected in court Monday in a case of
suspected animal cruelty.

"The suspect had choked his girlfriend in his apartment, but he'd also
killed a 6-week-old cat. He picked this cat up and kept throwing it down
on the ground," said Bob Baker, a Bellevue Police Department captain.
