AR-News: (US) PETA: People Eating Tasty Animals

The people at PETA are squawking again. And this time I don't blame them.

PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Or, depending
upon how warped your sense of humor might be, People Eating Tasty Animals.
Either way, the organization's feathers are plenty ruffled by a television
show on the Fox network.

As the latest step in the network's strategy to start with shows that have
an intelligence level of zero and see how far below that it can get, Fox
hacked up a program called "Banzai."
The one that had the PETA people complaining, for instance, involved a
chicken and some helium balloons. In an attempt to answer some of the
questions the Wright brothers neglected to research, helium balloons were
tied to a hen to learn how many of them it would take to make her airborne.
