THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT! THIS IS NOT ANOTHER "AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC"
SITE THAT SIMPLY WASTES SPACE. WE PLAN TO SEE THIS AND ALL GOOD HUMANE
EDUCATION PROGRAMS REACH INSIDE
THE SCHOOLS - VOLUNTEERS WILL TAKE IT THERE.

"In 1999 adults in this country made decisions which ultimately
resulted in the unnecessary killing of nearly 8 million loving and
adoptable companion animals. Given the opportunity, today's youth will
use this information to better all our tomorrows."

A new website for humane education, animal welfare, and
community involvement is online. Nearly 100 pages and growing. This
information will affect each and every student attending school today
as well as help to prevent advancement into further crime related
  activities in the future.

Geared towards enhancing the current curriculum for schools and other
youth groups who study or research animal welfare issues: humane ed
can fit into math (reproduction of dogs/cats and the incredible
numbers involved), science (benefits for alteration in addition to
reproduction and/or diseases), literature & English (telling &
writing stories based on this information), social studies (how has
the country evolved into handling the overpopulation), economics (how
much does one unspayed pet cost the tax payers, etc.

This site has examples of research articles, original stories,
studies, successful and creative ideas to stir the imagination,
suggestions for numerous projects to raise funds or to get added
community involvement. There are creative ideas for teachers to get
their classrooms actively involved in discussions, projects and
  essays.

In any case, the site is totally devoted to curbing the
amount of ignorance and apathy that causes the majority of the animal
abuse and neglect our society experiences today. This site is good
for students in grades 4-12 so they can learn that their decisions
have an enormous impact on these poor animals. Its a well thought out
variety of informative pages primarily geared towards the average
American pet guardians to learn from and to share with friends and
  family.

Unfortunately, the pages are quite slow to load, but, they are all
very well worth it. Make sure your local schools are made aware of
this site. It will help the next generation to improve their
decision making process through knowledge, compassion and
understanding that everyone holds the key to solving these problems.

Divided into several categories for easy reference, give this site a
visit. You'll likely find something here that can help or a friend
  with a problem you've had.

In order to solve these problems, you must understand what they are.
