The 163rd Party: Albania

 

The Depositary Government of the Convention (the Government of the Swiss
Confederation) has informed the Secretariat that Albania deposited its
instrument of accesssion on 27 June 2003, making it the 163rd Party to
CITES. Consequently the Convention will enter into force for this country on
25 September 2003.

 

Albania is situated in southeastern Europe, bordering the Adriatic Sea and
Ionian Sea.
