AR-News: (US) Pageant to use animals despite PETA protest

SPARTANBURG - Miss South Carolina pageant officials say they have no plans
to change the program, although an animal-rights group asked them to.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals had requested the pageant drop
a portion of its show Saturday that includes exotic animals from a local zoo.
