Two East Hall residents are facing 258 charges after authorities shut down
a pet factory at their Lotheridge Road home.
George McCollum, 55, and his 23-year-old daughter, Erin McCollum, are
expected to respond to the citations made by Hall County code enforcement
and animal control officers at 1 p.m. Aug. 6 in magistrate court.

Rick Phillips of animal control said his office issued 248 citations for
animal cruelty.
On July 1, animal control officials removed around 150 animals including
birds, cats, dogs, ferrets and a skunk from their property.
