Please forward to those who may be able to help.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My wife and I recently passed through the town of Chinle, in Northeastern Arizona.  Chinle is at the entrance to Canyon DeChelley National Monument.  During a quick stop, we discovered that a strip mall that includes a Taco Bell on Rt. 191 is home to several stray/feral dogs, some of whom are friendly to the touch.  Being over two-thousand miles from home, there was not much we could do for these dogs except to give them food and water for the short time we were there.
If anyone is able to help them, we can send a donation to help offset the costs of their spay/neuter.
The Chinle Veterinary Clinic can be reached at (928) 674-2069 - perhaps they can perform the surgery at low/no cost since these dogs are in desperate need of care.
Peace,
