AR-News: (UK) IFAW Welcomes UK Fox Ban Amendment

(London - 26 June 2003) - The International Fund for Animal Welfare
(IFAW - www.ifaw.org) has welcomed a new amendment to the UK
Government's Hunting Bill that will ban foxhunting. The Bill is due
for its Report Stage and Third Reading in the House of Commons on 30
June.

IFAW says the amendment, tabled by Tony Banks and five other Members
of Parliament, is the only way to end the cruelty of chasing and
killing foxes with dogs.
