 28 Days Later


A group of animal rights activists break into a primate research facility
and begin to free the caged chimps, ignoring the warnings of a terrified
researcher who says the animals are infected. Twenty-eight days later,
Cillian Murphy awakes from a coma in a London hospital only to find deserted
streets and dead bodies piled in heaps on a chapel floor. He meets up with
fellow survivors including Naomie Harris and Noah Huntley, unaware that the
worst is yet to come. Fox Searchlight opens the sci-fi horror film wide
Friday.
