Peter Bartczak's "Regal Vegan" is a lion that uses primarily fruits and
vegetables grown in the Sacramento Valley to depict its muscular features.

"I like duality, contradiction and paradox," Bartczak said. "Lions aren't
vegetarians."

It took him five to six days with an airbrush to complete his lion. He
says sarcasm, cynicism, beauty, humor and clarity guided his thoughts for
the "Regal Vegan."
