Leanne Short is nakedly ambitious when it comes to fighting for
animal rights.
The Laurentian teenager is prepared to bare her body for the cause,
which she has already done in no less than the U.S. capital. She
stripped, painted herself like a tiger then squeezed into a cage in
Washington as part of an anti-circus demonstration organized by the
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
The March event was one of what 19-year-old Short called "really
great learning experiences" during a four-month internship with PETA
at its Virginia headquarters.
